Our family was roofing Tampa homes before color television and central air conditioning were commonplace. Raised around his late grandfather's roofing company, Rescue Roofing owner Collin Kruse is proud to carry that legacy forward as his family's fourth-generation roofing contractor. Tampa roots. Generations of experience. Roofing done the right way.
Our story began in 1951, when the first roofing contractor in our family started serving homeowners across the Tampa Bay area, laying the foundation for what would become a multi-generational roofing business built on hard work and reputation. A decade later, the next generation stepped in to carry on the family trade, taking over operations at just 19 years old after the passing of his father.
His determination and unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship kept the business thriving and built a reputation for reliable roofing service that still stands strong today. Continuing that legacy, Collin Kruse, owner of Rescue Roofing of Tampa, Inc., founded the company in April 2014 at just 22 years old. After years of hands-on experience in his family’s roofing business, Collin felt called to take the next step, to lead his own Tampa roofing company and uphold the same integrity, skill, and dedication his family had built their name on.
From those early beginnings to today, Rescue Roofing of Tampa has become the natural continuation of a proud four-generation family tradition, built on honesty, precision, and a deep respect for the homes and businesses we serve throughout Tampa Bay, Land O’ Lakes, and the surrounding communities.
At Rescue Roofing of Tampa, roofing isn't just our business, it's our legacy. As a fourth-generation roofing contractor with roots in the Tampa Bay roofing industry dating back to the 1950s, we bring decades of hands-on experience, skilled craftsmanship, and old-fashioned integrity to every residential and commercial roofing project we take on.
Founded on trust, quality workmanship, and genuine customer care, Rescue Roofing has grown into one of Tampa Bay's most trusted roofing companies for homeowners and businesses alike. We're proud to be a licensed, insured, and family-owned roofing contractor, continuing a tradition of excellence that began over 75 years ago and still guides how we handle every roof repair, roof replacement, and storm damage restoration today.
295+ Tampa Bay homeowners have rated their Rescue Roofing experience 4.9 out of 5 stars.
Most of our work is on Tampa Bay homes: full roof replacement and re-roofs when a roof has reached the end of its life, new roof installation, and roof repair after wind and rain damage. We also handle maintenance, skylights, and soffit, fascia and gutters so the whole roofline works together.
From offices to multi-unit buildings, our commercial roofing team plans work around your schedule and keeps flat and low-slope systems watertight.
We install and service shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs. Not sure what fits your home and budget? Start with our roof options guide or just ask us during your free inspection.
