Collin Kruse grew up inside a roofing company. He was homeschooled in a playroom at the family business alongside his siblings and cousins, learned woodshop from his uncles and grandfather, and spent his high school years working on the family crews. His great grandfather, grandfather, father, mother and uncles all worked the trade before him. Roofing is not something our family does, it is who we are.
In April 2014, Collin started Rescue Roofing of Tampa with a pickup truck and one job: a full plywood and Owens Corning shingle installation on a 4,000 square foot barn for a family friend. Eleven years later, that one-truck operation serves more than 500 Tampa Bay homeowners a year, and closer to a thousand in the seasons after a hurricane.
The thing we want you to know about us is simple: we are a customer service company that happens to do roofing. If a repair will do the job, that is what we will tell you. We would rather fix your roof until a replacement is truly necessary than pressure you into one you do not need.
