Rescue Roofing of Tampa offers free roof inspections across Tampa Bay. The team gets on the roof, documents what it finds with photos and explains in plain English what needs attention now and what can wait. A Florida roof should be inspected at least once a year and after any significant storm. Rescue Roofing is licensed and insured, family owned and an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred contractor based in Land O' Lakes.

Roof Inspection Services

Most roof problems start small and stay hidden. A lifted shingle, a cracked pipe boot or a loose piece of flashing can let water in long before a stain ever shows on your ceiling. A roof inspection finds those problems while they are still small.

At Rescue Roofing of Tampa, inspections are free. We get on the roof, look at every part of it, document what we find with photos and explain it in plain English: what needs attention now, what can wait and what is fine. No pressure, and no upselling you into work you do not need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing. Our roof inspections are free, and they come with photo documentation so you know exactly where things stand. There is no obligation to do any work with us afterward.

At minimum once a year, and after any significant storm. Roofs do not always show obvious warning signs until water is already coming through a ceiling, and by then the damage is usually much worse than it needed to be. Since inspections are free, there is no good reason to wait.

Every part of the roof. That means the shingles or tiles, the flashing, pipe boots, vents and sealants, and the gutters and downspouts. We are looking for lifted, torn or missing material, failing sealant and anything that gives water a way in. Everything we find is photographed.

It depends on the size and pitch of your roof and on what we find once we are up there. We will give you a realistic window when you book, not a vague promise, so you can plan your day around it.

You see the photos and get a plain English explanation of what needs attention and what can wait. If it is something small, like failing sealant around a pipe boot or a lifted shingle, we address it the same day whenever possible. For anything bigger you get a straightforward estimate with your options explained.

If cost is the worry, we also offer roof financing through Truist Service Finance and Hearth.

Yes. That is the point of it. If the damage is isolated and the surrounding materials are still sound, a proper roof repair can give you years of reliable performance. We will never push you toward a replacement you do not need, and we will also tell you plainly when a repair is only buying time. We check how the Florida 25 percent rule applies to your roof too. When replacement is the right call, our roof replacement page explains how that works.

Yes. Standard homeowner policies generally cover sudden damage from storms, not routine wear. If we find storm damage, we document it clearly with photos so your adjuster has what they need, and we walk you through what a legitimate claim looks like. We are not a public adjuster, and we do not push anyone toward a claim that is not warranted.

All of them. We work on the roof types common across Tampa Bay: shingle, tile, metal and flat roofing systems. Florida heat, humidity and storms affect each material differently, so the inspection is different for each one.

Torn, blown-off or missing shingles or tiles, bubbling paint, ceiling stains, wet spots, and mold, mildew or rotting wood. Age matters too. Most roofs show wear between 15 and 30 years, and the Florida climate can cause problems well before that. Any of those is a good reason to call (813) 661-7663.

More Ways We Help

Explore Our Other Roofing Services

Storm damage or an active leak? We answer 24/7.

  1. A Full Look at the Roof: We look at every part of your roof carefully: shingles or tiles, flashing, pipe boots, vents and sealants, plus the gutters and downspouts while we are up there.
  2. Photo Documentation: You get photos of everything we find, so you see exactly what we see and know where things stand.
  3. Plain English Findings: A straight explanation of what needs attention and what can wait. Roof repair when that is the right call, roof replacement only when it genuinely is needed.
  4. Storm Damage Assessment: Tampa Bay gets hit hard. After a major storm we get out quickly, assess the damage honestly and document it the way your insurance carrier needs.
  5. Warning Sign Check: Ceiling stains, wet spots, bubbling paint, mold or missing shingles are all reasons to call. We trace the sign back to its source, and if it is an active leak we move straight to roof leak repair.

An inspection from Rescue Roofing of Tampa means a fourth generation roofing family shows up, tells you the truth and shows you the photos. Once a year and after any significant storm is the right rhythm for a Florida roof, and a roof maintenance visit keeps small findings from growing.
